Terms of use

Who provides the service

ClarityContract is a service of a company established in the Principality of Andorra. For any question or complaint, write to support@claritycontract.com; for data protection matters, to privacy@claritycontract.com.

Nature of the service

ClarityContract is a software tool that performs an automated review of contracts using artificial intelligence. It provides guidance to help spot risks and prepare a negotiation. It is not a law firm, it does not provide legal advice and its output is not a legal opinion.

Acceptance and changes

By uploading a document or creating an account you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If we change them materially, we will ask you to accept them again before you keep using the service.

User responsibility

The decision to sign, amend or reject a contract always rests with the user. For high-value contracts or complex situations, we recommend consulting a lawyer qualified in the relevant country.

Limitations

The automated analysis may contain errors or omissions, especially with scanned, incomplete documents or documents written in less common languages. The legislation cited is for guidance and may have changed. The service is provided as is: we do our best to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Use without an account

Without an account you can run one free diagnosis per day. The full report for a contract is unlocked with a one-off payment, at the price shown on the pricing page, and can be viewed for 24 hours through its private link.

Payments

Payments are made through the bank's secure payment gateway (Redsys). You enter your card details on the bank's page: we never see or store them.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel them. When you subscribe, the bank stores your card and gives us an identifier (token) that can only be used to charge it from our merchant account; we use it to charge renewals and, if you upgrade, the difference pro rata for the remaining days. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. You can cancel at any time from your account: you keep access until the end of the paid period and no further charges are made. If a renewal cannot be charged, we retry after 1, 3 and 7 days; if it still fails, the subscription is cancelled. Documents included in a period and not used do not carry over; on the yearly plan, the allowance covers the whole year.

Credits

Credits are used for additional services (superior analysis engine, translations or documents beyond the plan allowance). They expire twelve months after purchase and are not transferable. If an analysis fails for a reason on our side, the credits and allowance used are refunded automatically.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from purchase to withdraw. By asking for the analysis or subscription to start immediately, you agree that the service is provided within that period; therefore, once a report has been delivered or a document or credit used, you lose the right of withdrawal for what has already been provided. If within those 14 days you have not used anything from a subscription or a credit pack, you can request a full refund by writing to support@claritycontract.com.

Account

You can delete your account at any time from the account page: saved documents and the card identifier are removed and no further charges are made. We may suspend or close accounts that use the service abusively or unlawfully.

API access

API keys are personal and must be kept like a password. The user is responsible for their use until they are revoked. Automatic notifications (webhooks) are sent signed to the address the user provides, for which the user is responsible.

Permitted use

The user declares that they have the right to process the document they upload and undertakes not to use the service for unlawful purposes or to try to alter its operation or limits.

Ownership

The documents you upload and the resulting reports are yours and you may use them freely. The software, design and the ClarityContract brand belong to us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Principality of Andorra. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection granted by the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the courts of your domicile.
